Head Investment Management

The Head of Investment Management<\/b> is responsible for defining and executing the organization\u2019s investment strategy to achieve superior, risk\u2011adjusted returns. The role provides strategic leadership across the full investment lifecycle origination, evaluation, execution, monitoring, and exit while ensuring strong governance, value creation, and optimal portfolio performance. The position will also lead co\u2011investment initiatives and special purpose vehicles to drive sustainable shareholder value.

Responsibilities<\/b>

  • Design, implement, and continuously enhance a comprehensive investment management framework covering origination, due diligence, approval, monitoring, and divestment.

  • Establish clear investment governance structures and decision\u2011making processes.

  • Ensure all investment activities align with the organization\u2019s strategic goals, capital allocation priorities, and targeted risk\u2011return profile.

  • Lead investment committee preparations, including investment memoranda and recommendations.
    <\/li>
  • Develop and implement portfolio performance management frameworks, including financial and non\u2011financial KPIs.
    <\/li>
  • Conduct quarterly portfolio performance reviews, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
    <\/li>
  • Monitor asset\u2011level and portfolio\u2011level performance against benchmarks and strategic targets.
    <\/li>
  • Provide analytical support for portfolio rebalancing, exits, and capital redeployment decisions.
    <\/li>
  • Lead and manage co\u2011investment initiatives, including SPVs and SPAC\u2011related transactions.
    <\/li>
  • Oversee project structuring, execution, and performance monitoring to ensure alignment with stakeholder interests.
    <\/li>
  • Coordinate cross\u2011functionally with Legal, Finance, Risk, and Operations to ensure seamless execution and compliance.
    <\/li>
  • Manage relationships with co\u2011investors, partners, and external advisors.
    <\/li>
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate investment risks across the portfolio.
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with internal investment policies, regulatory requirements, and best\u2011practice governance standards.

  • Drive transparency through accurate reporting and performance tracking.

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
      <\/li>
    • MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.
      <\/li>
    • Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent are highly desirable.
      <\/li>
    • Minimum of 10 years\u2019 progressive experience in investment management, private equity, asset management, or portfolio management.
      <\/li>
    • Proven track record in investment origination, execution, portfolio management, and exits.
      <\/li>
    • Experience managing co\u2011investment structures, SPVs, or complex investment vehicles is a strong advantage.
