Head of AML – Leading Crypto Firm

The Role

My client is a leading Crypto Firm and we are looking for a Head of AML join the team in Singapore. You will be overseeing the AML pillar and will be leading a team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the firm’s global AML strategy aligned with regulatory requirements and business goal
• Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing AML team across multiple jurisdictions
• Act as the primary subject matter expert on AML, FCC, and KYC matters
• Conduct enterprise-wide AML risk assessments and implement risk-based controls tailored to crypto-specific risks such as on-chain activity, DeFi exposure, and cross-border transactions.
• Develop internal policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a strong culture of compliance across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelors’ degree in a related field
• At least 8 years of AML experience – ideally with experience across payments and crypto
• Ability to lead a team
• Able to work independently
• Ability to manage and work with regional stakeholders
