Head of Business Transformation
Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND‑01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.
About The Role
As we scale from R&D into production and global operations, we are investing in how the business itself operates: how decisions are made, how work flows across teams, and how capabilities evolve over time.
We’re hiring a Head of Business Transformation to lead this effort driving clarity, alignment, and continuous improvement across the company.
As Head of Business Transformation, you will be responsible for improving how the company operates at a systems level. You will identify gaps between how we work today and how we need to work to scale, and then design and implement the changes required across people, process, tools, controls, and automation/AI.
This role spans strategy and execution. You will work directly with the executive team and functional leaders to define priorities, drive transformation programmes, and embed new ways of working across the organisation.
You will operate as a force multiplier—helping teams move faster, with more clarity, and with fewer breakdowns at the interfaces between functions.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation Strategy & Execution
Define and lead the company-wide business transformation roadmap, aligned with strategic priorities
Identify critical gaps in operating model, decision-making, and execution across functions
Design and deliver transformation programmes that improve speed, quality, and scalability
Ensure initiatives translate into measurable outcomes, not just plans
Capability Development (People, Process, Tools, Controls, Automation/AI)
Drive clarity on “as-is” vs. “to-be” capabilities across core business functions
Design and implement improvements across workflows, governance, tooling, and data visibility
Identify and deploy automation and AI opportunities to eliminate manual work, improve accuracy, and accelerate decision-making
Establish scalable operating rhythms (planning, reporting, review cycles)
Partner with IT, data, and functional teams to embed intelligent systems into day-to-day operations
Cross-Functional Alignment & Operating Model
Define and maintain the company’s overall operating model
Improve how teams work together across engineering, operations, product, and commercial
Define clear ownership, interfaces, and decision rights across functions
Reduce friction in key workflows (e.g. NPI, supply chain, product delivery, data collection)
Act as a neutral, trusted partner to resolve cross-functional challenges
Performance, Data & Continuous Improvement
Define and track company-level and functional performance metrics
Build dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide real-time visibility into performance
Leverage data, automation, and AI to enable faster insight generation and proactive decision-making
Embed a culture of continuous improvement, structured problem solving, and accountability
Lead root cause analysis on systemic issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Executive Partnership & Change Leadership
Work closely with the Senior Leadership team to prioritise and sequence transformation initiatives
Support leaders in driving change within their teams and functions
Communicate clearly across the organisation on priorities, progress, and outcomes
Ensure change is adopted, scaled, and sustained
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of experience in business transformation, operations, strategy, or programme leadership roles
Proven track record delivering end-to-end transformation in complex, fast-scaling organisations
Strong systems thinking able to connect strategy, operations, and execution across functions
Experience improving capabilities across people, process, tools, controls, and automation/AI
Demonstrated ability to identify and implement automation and AI-driven improvements in business workflows
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building from first principles
High credibility with senior stakeholders and ability to influence without formal authority
Bonus Points
Experience in robotics, manufacturing, or hardware-led companies
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence methodologies
Experience implementing ERP, PLM, or enterprise systems in scaling organisations
Exposure to AI-enabled business transformation, digital transformation, or automation programmes
