Head of Electricity - Sales

The\nHead of Electricity Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth,\ndeveloping new business, and managing key client relationships within the\nelectricity sector. \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and execute a\ncomprehensive sales strategy for the electricity division aligned with the\ncompany's business objectives<\/span>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead, mentor, and manage the\nelectricity sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify and pursue new business\nopportunities across municipal, commercial, and industrial markets<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Build and maintain strategic\nrelationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with the technical and\nproject delivery teams to develop compelling, client\-focused proposals and\ntender submissions<\/span>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor market trends, competitor\nactivity, and regulatory developments to identify growth opportunities<\/span>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage the full sales cycle from\nlead generation through to contract award and handover<\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Bachelor's degree or any other\nrelated qualifications<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>10+ years\u2019 experience in technical\nor engineering sales, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Solid understanding of electricity\ninfrastructure, grid solutions, or energy services<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Proven track record of meetings and\nexceeding sales targets in a B2B environment<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Experience working with\nmunicipalities, utilities, or government entities advantageous<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong commercial acumen and\ntender/proposal experience<\/span>
<\/p>

\- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Valid South African driver's\nlicense<\/span>
