<\/span><\/p>The Head of Faculty is\npivotal in shaping and delivering high\-quality education within the\nFaculty.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>This role involves providing\nacademic leadership, overseeing faculty operations, and ensuring the\ndevelopment of students and staff.<\/span> <\/span><\/span>The\nresponsibilities include strategic planning, curriculum development, quality\nassurance, and maintaining alignment with institutional policies, industry\nstandards, and regulatory requirements set by the Council on Higher Education\n(CHE), the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), and the South\nAfrican Qualifications Authority (SAQA).<\/span> <\/span><\/span>The incumbent contributes to the professional development of staff,\npromotes research and scholarship, and ensures a supportive and engaging\nlearning environment for students.<\/span><\/span>

<\/span><\/span><\/div>\u2022\tOversee the recruitment, development, and performance of academic staff, ensuring ongoing professional growth and fostering an inclusive academic environment.
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\u2022\tEnsure that all academic programmes align with institutional goals, promoting excellence in teaching, learning, and research.
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\u2022\tManage Programme Coordinators, WIL Coordinators, and Administrators to ensure effective implementation and coordination of all Faculty programmes.
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\u2022\tFoster collaboration and effective communication within the Faculty and across the institution.
<\/span><\/span><\/div>\u2022\tManage faculty resources, including budgets, facilities, and equipment, ensuring efficient and effective utilisation.
