Job Responsibilities :

We are looking for a seasoned, hands-on publishing leader to head our Vietnam operations. This is not just an operational role — it's a market ownership role. You will be the driving force behind how we compete, grow, and win in one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic gaming markets.

The ideal candidate is someone who has grown up in the Vietnamese gaming industry, understands its rhythms intimately, and knows what it takes to build a loyal playerbase from the ground up — from grassroots community events to large-scale online and offline activations. You will lead a cross-functional team and be accountable for the full publishing lifecycle, P&L, and long-term market competitiveness.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and scale a high-performing publishing team across marketing, operations, community management, customer support, and technical support.
  • Own the full game lifecycle — from market evaluation and pre-launch preparation through soft launch, full launch, and live operations — ensuring strong market penetration and player retention.
  • Drive P&L accountability, aligning all operational and marketing activities with revenue and profitability targets.
  • Define and execute product strategies focused on monetization, user engagement, and long-term growth.
  • Build and own a local partnership ecosystem — including vendor relationships, brand collaborations, and grassroots and community organizations — to strengthen our market presence both online and offline.
  • Plan and execute integrated offline and online activations, community events, and local campaigns that resonate authentically with Vietnamese players.
  • Champion local community building as a core growth lever, not an afterthought — deeply understanding player sentiment, cultural trends, and community dynamics in Vietnam.
  • Benchmark against top local competitors, translating market intelligence into actionable strategies that close gaps and identify opportunities to go beyond.
  • Analyze daily performance metrics and forecast trends, making data-driven decisions to continuously optimize outcomes.

Pre-Requisites :

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of experience in the Vietnamese online or mobile gaming industry, with a track record rooted in the local market — not just regional or global publishing overlaid onto Vietnam.
  • Senior-level experience at a leading publisher is highly desirable. (e.g. a leading Vietnamese game company), with a deep, first-hand understanding of the local competitive landscape, industry norms, and player culture.
  • At least two successful game launches under your belt as a publishing lead, with measurable business outcomes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building local partnerships — vendors, community organizations, influencers, brand partners — and executing offline and online activations that drive real engagement.
  • Strong understanding of the Vietnamese gaming community — its culture, sentiment, and what makes players here tick.
  • Experience with RPG, MMORPG, or Shooter titles is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and grow large cross-functional teams (30+ members).
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English.
  • Based in Ho Chi Minh City.
