Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and define the long-term hardware product roadmap in alignment with regional, engineering, and executive teams.
- Engage directly with customers to gather insights and translate needs into actionable product requirements.
- Collaborate across functions—including Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Procurement—to deliver high-impact product initiatives.
- Drive the development of Product Requirements Documents (PRDs), feature definitions, and customer-facing collateral.
- Monitor industry and technology trends to inform strategy and maintain competitive differentiation.
- Provide strategic input to Engineering to ensure product features align with customer needs and business goals.
- Develop and deliver high-quality, customer-facing presentations that articulate product value.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing Communications to support go-to-market activities and create compelling sales collateral.
- Lead and mentor a team of hardware product managers, ensuring alignment with business unit objectives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Deep expertise in Routing and Switching technologies.
- Proven track record in product management, including roadmap development and competitive positioning.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and working across organizational boundaries.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions.
- Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of product management experience in Carrier Service Provider, Data Center, and/or Mission-Critical networking environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
- MBA is a strong plus.
- Experience managing and building high-performing teams.
- Strong background in creating PRDs, user stories, and sales/marketing assets.
