About this role
As Head of Integration, you will play a key role leading the end-to-end integration of Grant Thornton Australia into the expanding Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform. Working with the Grant Thornton Advisors Global Integration team, you will design and deliver disciplined, multi-workstream integration programs across finance, people and culture, service line operations, digital, risk, legal and business development. This role will also lead integration activity for future local acquisitions, ensuring seamless transition from pre-close through to post-integration while maintaining strong client service and operational continuity.
This is a permanent full-time role, working closely with executive leaders, global workstream leads and acquired firm leadership teams. You will drive alignment, manage dependencies and support timely decision-making across complex stakeholder groups. This is a high-impact opportunity to deliver commercial value, realise synergies and contribute insights to broader transformation initiatives, strengthening governance, systems, and ways of working.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration of Grant Thornton Australia into the Grant Thornton Advisors multinational platform and manage integration activity for future local acquisitions
- Develop detailed integration plans, including governance structures, milestones, and deliverables
- Prepare and maintain standardised integration playbooks, templates, and reporting dashboards
- Align integration plans with other change initiatives and operating model changes
- Maintain clear, consistent communication across internal and external stakeholders
- Manage risks, dependencies and critical decisions to keep integration activity on track
- Deliver commercial value, client continuity, cultural alignment and future acquisition success
Skills & experience
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Ability to translate M&A strategy into structured integration plans and outcomes
- Manage complex, multi-workstream delivery
- Influence senior stakeholders across global teams
- Proven track record navigating legal, financial and regulatory risk
