Role Description
We are seeking a Head of Investor Relations to lead capital formation efforts for our AI-fund. The successful candidate will originate and manage long-term relationships with Single Family Offices (SFOs) Multi-Family Offices(MFOs), and Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) principals, positioning Candid as a trusted partner in alternative investments.
This is a high impact role for a candidate with a proven track record in capital raising and investor coverage, ideally within the family office and institutional ecosystem in Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Formation & Fundraising
- Lead fundraising campaigns and drive net new AUM into the AI fund.
- Position fund strategies as core or satellite allocations within family office and institutional portfolios.
- Structure tailored investment solutions (fund allocations, co-investments, bespoke mandates).
Investor Relations & Coverage
- Originate and onboard new family offices, UHNW principals, and institutionalclients.
- Build multi-stakeholder relationships with principals, CIOs, and investmentcommittees.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investment strategy, reporting, and governance discussions.
- Support investor reviews, performance updates, and portfolio alignment sessions.
Strategic Advisory & Collaboration
- Develop deep understanding of investor objectives, liquidity preferences, and inter-generational needs.
- Partner with Portfolio Managers to articulate strategy rationale, risk management, and performance drivers.
- Coordinate investor communications, due diligence, and onboarding processes.
Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in family office coverage, private banking (UHNW), or asset management distribution.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex investment strategies and engage effectively with investors and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in leveraging tools for creating investor materials, reports, and presentations.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated success in raising capital from family offices, UHNW families and institutional investors.
- Prior experience in private equity, asset management, or alternative investment funds is advantageous.
- Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; CFA/CAIA preferred.
