The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to shape the people strategy of a dynamic, multi-brand organisation at scale.
As Head of People & Culture, you will partner closely with the Executive General Manager | People & Culture to define and deliver a forward-thinking people agenda that directly influences business performance, risk, and growth across our Australian division. This is more than a leadership role. It is a chance to elevate how People & Culture shows up in the business, shifting from operational support to a truly strategic, commercially driven function.
Leading a high-performing P&C Generalist team, you will empower leaders, navigate complex workforce challenges, and provide trusted, executive-level advice on the matters that matter most. You will operate with autonomy, influence senior stakeholders, and make decisions that balance people outcomes with commercial realities.
We are looking for a leader who thrives in complexity. Someone who brings deep expertise in industrial relations, proven experience leading teams at scale, and the confidence to challenge, shape, and deliver meaningful change across a diverse, multi-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Executive General Manager, People & Culture to deliver the Group People Strategy, ensuring the P&C team is focused on initiatives that drive business performance
Provide commercially grounded, data-led executive-level advice on people matters, balancing legal risk, cost, and operational impact
Contribute to senior leadership discussions with clear insights on workforce performance, people risk, and cost
Lead complex employee relations and industrial relations matters, including Enterprise Agreements, Fair Work proceedings, and workplace investigations
Build and lead a high-performing P&C team, strengthening capability, driving accountability to leaders, and elevating the function to a true business partner
Align closely with Talent Acquisition and L&D to deliver integrated, end-to-end people solutions across the business
Oversee remuneration and performance cycles, ensuring fair, consistent, and commercially aligned outcomes
Drive improvements in employee experience, wellbeing, and people processes to reduce administrative burden and increase strategic impact
Ensure compliance with Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, and legislation, with clear and timely communication to stakeholders
Contribute to workforce planning, organisational capability, and broader transformation initiatives across the Group
About You
You are a commercially minded People & Culture leader who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments. You bring a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery and are motivated by the opportunity to shape how people strategy drives real business outcomes.
You are confident operating at an executive level, able to influence, challenge, and guide senior stakeholders with credibility. You don’t just focus on processes. You connect people decisions to risk, cost, and performance, and are comfortable taking a position when it matters.
You are also a builder of teams. You take pride in developing capability, creating accountability, and positioning P&C as a trusted partner to the business. You enjoy solving complex workforce challenges and leading through ambiguity, while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes.
