Head of Sales (Advertising)

Job Summary

We are looking for a high-impact Head of Sales to lead, scale, and synchronize our revenue efforts across two key pillars: Agencies and Direct Brands. Reporting directly to the Country Manager of Singapore, you will be the architect of our sales strategy. You won't just be managing pipelines; you’ll be managing people—specifically leading our Agency Leads and Direct Brand Leads to ensure our market presence is cohesive and our revenue targets are smashed. This leadership role requires a seasoned professional who can engage C-suite stakeholders, develop high-impact partnerships, and deliver business results.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Oversight: Develop and execute a unified sales roadmap that balances the long-term stability of agency partnerships with the high-margin potential of direct brand deals.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Manage, coach, and elevate the current Agency and Direct Brand Leads. You are responsible for their professional growth and the collective output of their teams.
  • Revenue Optimization: Own the full sales funnel. From lead gen strategy to closing high-value contracts, you’ll ensure the engine is running lean and fast.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the "voice of the market" for our Product and Marketing teams to ensure our offerings remain competitive and our messaging hits the mark.
  • High-Level Networking: Personally manage relationships with "Big 6" agency holding companies and C-suite stakeholders at Tier-1 brands.
  • Sales Stack Innovation: Audit and evolve our sales tech stack by integrating AI-driven tools to reduce "manual grunt work" for your leads.

Required competencies and certifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, ad tech/media/marketing sales, or strategic partnerships
  • 5+ years in a leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • A deep rolodex of existing relationships within major agencies and national brands
  • Demonstrated success in engaging with and influencing C-suite executives
  • Proven track record of driving growth in marketing, e-commerce, or technology industries
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and execute plans effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving growth and achieving team targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Candidates with higher experience and capabilities may be considered for Senior Director role.
