Head of Service Execution – lead Nordic service excellence

As Head of Service Execution, you will lead service operations across Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational management.

From our office in Søborg, you will lead a team of 20 remote field service technicians located across Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. Your team is responsible for installation and commissioning projects, planned maintenance activities and emergency service interventions at customer food production facilities throughout the Nordic region.

Responsibilities / Tasks

As Head of Service Execution, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the Nordic service organisation. Together with your team, you will drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction and commercial performance throughout the Nordic region.

Acting as the link between customers, technicians and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient service delivery, developing your team and supporting the continued growth of the business.

More specifically, you will:

  • Oversee daily service planning, technician dispatch and resource allocation across routine maintenance, emergency repairs and larger installation projects
  • Manage the successful delivery of installation and commissioning projects for food processing lines while ensuring a smooth transition to live production
  • Lead, coach and develop your field service technicians team, including performance reviews, technical training, recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Oversee operational administration including automated scheduling tools, digital timesheet validation, service invoicing workflows and customer warranty claims
  • Monitor service revenue, costs, budgets and KPI’s such as billable hours, technician utilisation, first-time fix rate, overtime control and customer satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for service and project-related issues across the Nordic region and ensure compliance with food safety standards and relevant industrial regulations.

You should expect approximately 20-30 travel days across the Nordic region each year.

Your Profile / Qualifications

You are an experienced people manager – and with your structured and collaborative approach, you are able to lead remote teams, build strong stakeholder relationships and maintain focus on both service quality and commercial results.

We also imagine that you:

  • Have at least 5 years of experience managing field service operations, industrial maintenance teams or similar service organisations
  • Bring a proven track record within industrial food processing equipment and experience managing installation and commissioning projects
  • Have experience managing remote, multinational teams across the Nordics
  • Possess a technical background within mechanical, electrical or automation engineering together with a strong understanding of food safety standards such as HACCP and EHEDG
  • Are proficient in scheduling, invoicing and ERP systems
  • Speak fluent English and at least one Nordic language
  • Hold a valid driving licence and have the flexibility to travel regularly across the Nordics
