Head of Water - Sales
The Head\nof Water Sales will lead all commercial activity within the water services\ndivision. This senior role requires a combination of technical understanding,\nstrategic vision, and strong relationship management skills. The successful\ncandidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, managing key\naccounts, and building a high\-performance sales team to achieve ambitious\ngrowth targets.<\/span> Key\nResponsibilities<\/span><\/b> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for\nthe water division in line with company growth objectives<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Lead, coach, and manage the water sales team to\nconsistently meet and exceed revenue targets<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Identify and develop new business opportunities\nacross municipal, industrial, agricultural, and commercial water markets<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Build and sustain long\-term relationships with\nkey clients including municipalities, water boards, and government departments<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Collaborate with engineering and project\ndelivery teams to develop technically sound and commercially competitive\nproposals and tenders<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Monitor developments in water legislation,\npolicy, and infrastructure funding to identify strategic opportunities<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting\nand needs analysis through to contract negotiation and handover<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline\nreports, and performance updates to executive leadership<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Represent the company at industry events,\nstakeholder engagements, and professional forums<\/span> \- <\/span><\/span><\/span>Support bid and tender processes including\npricing strategy, scope definition, and client presentations<\/span>
