Job Summary

This role is accountable for the end-to-end management of the Fleet Solutions product portfolio, driving both strategic direction and operational delivery.
The role will be responsible for shaping a client-centric, commercially sustainable product offering, while ensuring disciplined execution across the product lifecycle. The role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and execution excellence within a complex, matrixed environment.

Job Description

Define and execute a Fleet Solutions product strategy aligned to Business Banking and customer segment priorities
Develop and continuously refine value propositions informed by market insights, client needs, and competitive dynamics
Ensure the portfolio remains relevant, differentiated, and commercially viable
Accountable for the design, development, deployment, and optimisation of Fleet Solutions products
Oversee the implementation and enhancement of new and existing products, ensuring effective delivery and adoption
Manage the product P&L, including revenue growth, margins, and cost optimisation
Support the delivery of balance sheet objectives and broader financial ambitions of the business
Monitor performance drivers and implement targeted interventions to enhance commercial outcomes
Ensure the effectiveness of the end-to-end product operating model, including governance, processes, and systems
Drive alignment across risk, operations, technology, and support functions to enable seamless product delivery
Continuously improve operational efficiency and scalability while maintaining a strong client focus
Lead and develop a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of accountability and delivery excellence
Embed a customer-centric mindset, ensuring alignment between colleague experience and client outcomes
Influence stakeholders across the value chain to deliver integrated and sustainable solutions

Minimum Requirements

Relevant degree - NQF8
Minimum 10 years in product management within financial services with experience in Card and payment rails.
Proven track record in managing product portfolios and delivering commercial outcomes (P&L ownership)
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, operating models, and customer value propositions
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional delivery across business, risk, operations, and technology

Education

Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
