Health Admin - Internship

This is a remote position.

A Healthcare Administration Intern will be responsible and have the opportunity to participate in the foundational work of day-to-day healthcare administrative of NENO ecosystem (comprises of Services, Social Mission, Gig Economy, Collaborators and Academy) in hybrid working mode.

Throughout the internship period, you are expected to identify, propose and implement ways to improve the end users experience journey aiming at helping care recipients to lead more meaningful lives while running the business efficiently.

Intern will be reporting directly to Managing Director and Healthcare Advisors of NENO.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Operation

  1. Services

  • Runner for mobile health care service / outreach, if needed.

  • Regularly interact with Neno Gig Workers throughout the Human Resource / Gig Worker Experience Journey (GWX).

  1. Training

  • To assist with preparing modules / presentation slides for health care training

  • To assist with the planning and implementation of NENO Caregiver Training and other training programs for gig workers and the public.

Sales & Customer Service

  • To interact with prospects, customers and clients of Neno in timely manner.

  • To propose for free consultation and up sell Neno services.

  • To explore customer leads and sources and work on various techniques towards funneling to sales.

  • To brainstorm and work on NENO Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

  • To propose and implement ways to increase customer satisfaction in NENO Customer Experience (CX) journey.

Health Administration

  • To maintain records of medical and office supplies and its stock/inventories.

  • To respond in timely manner to Neno Gig Workers (eg. doctors, nurses, therapist, caregivers) and other related parties (customers, care recipients, beneficiaries, collaborators, vendors).

  • Ensure stakeholders comply with the current Malaysian healthcare laws and regulations and all of NENO process, policy or terms and conditions.

Finance

  • To prepare and issue quotations, invoices and receipts to customers.

  • Maintain customer and care recipient’s medical, billing and payment records and ensure they are kept up to date.

  • Keep records of all expenses and recommend techniques to reduce costs.

Marketing

  • To suggest and prepare content for social media to create awareness on health care across generations.

  • Capture photos and videos of Neno services / outreach / trainings conducted and upload postings to Neno social media

  • Take part in NENO promotional / exhibition booth.


Requirements

Requirement

  • Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Health Care Administration / Business Management / Social Science / Sport Science or related field

  • In-depth knowledge of health care regulations and medical terminology will be an added advantage

  • Physically fit and able to go mobile with own transportation

  • Empathy, compassion and respect for others

  • Attention to detail, reliable, able to work in a team and in a high demand environment

  • Be a results-driven achiever with excellent organizational skills

  • Proficient with Google, Zoho One and Canva.
