About the Role
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents to live safely, comfortably and with dignity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
- Supporting mobility and maintaining independence
- Encouraging good nutrition and hydration
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting residents living with dementia
- Assisting with nursing and palliative care needs
- Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and reporting any concerns
- Completing accurate care records and documentation
- Working closely with nurses and the wider care team
- Helping to maintain a safe, calm and welcoming environment
About You
We are looking for people who are:
✔ Experienced in providing care and support to older people
✔ Compassionate, patient and respectful
✔ Reliable and committed to delivering high standards of care
✔ Confident working as part of a team
✔ Excellent communicators
✔ Passionate about making a positive difference to residents’ lives
Previous experience in a care home, nursing home or similar setting is highly desirable.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who shares our values and takes pride in providing outstanding care.
