The HSE Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the site’s safety and environmental culture, driving key compliance and continuous improvement processes, and actively partnering with the Factory Management Team to influence strategic decisions.
What are we looking for?
Engineer degree with 2–3 years of experience in Safety and/or Environment.
Specialization in Safety / Environment / Quality Management / Risk Assessment.
Strong knowledge of regulatory standards in Safety, Environment and Quality.
Experience in HSE systems, procedures, audits and continuous improvement.
Ability to influence, engage and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision making.
Fluent in English & French.
Leadership qualities: autonomy, integrity, conflict management, motivating others.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Define and drive the HSE vision of the site and embed a zero‑incident culture.
Lead and develop the local HSE team and act as the site HSE expert.
Build, communicate and monitor the site HSE strategy and annual plans, aligned with global and regional directions.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Mars corporate standards.
Implement and maintain HSE management systems, procedures and policies.
Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Use a data‑driven approach to prioritize actions and influence site leadership.
Collaborate with Occupational Health & Wellness teams for injury case management.
Own and execute site security requirements.
Manage risk management activities, asset conservation and property loss control.
Drive timely actions following third‑party audits and risk assessments.
Act as a member of the Factory Management Team and regional HSE community.
