Health & Safety Officer
The Role:

The main responsibilities of the position include:
Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of the Group’s H&S framework, ensuring it remains aligned with applicable legislation and industry best practices
Perform comprehensive workplace inspections and risk assessments to proactively identify hazards and recommend effective corrective and preventive measures
Regularly evaluate compliance with H&S regulations, internal policies, and operational procedures, ensuring all identified gaps are addressed promptly
Maintain meticulous H&S documentation and registers, including risk assessments, incident reports, and employee training records
Support the investigation of workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, utilising root cause analysis to develop robust corrective action plans
Coordinate H&S training programs, employee inductions, awareness initiatives, and emergency preparedness activities
Assist in the preparation of H&S reports, metrics, and updates for management and relevant internal or external stakeholders
Promote a proactive safety culture across the Group by encouraging awareness, accountability, and best practices at every level
Partner with different departments on initiatives related to workplace safety and operational risk management
Main requirements:
University degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related field
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a Health & Safety or HSE role
Strong knowledge of Cyprus Health & Safety legislation and the practical application of H&S principles
Relevant professional certifications will be considered a significant advantage
Exceptional organisational skills with high attention to detail
Fluency in both Greek and English (verbal and written)
High level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
