Up to £25,935 per annum depending on experience

Our Pre Assessment ​team in our Tunbridge Wells Hospital currently have an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant. Passionate about caring, you will relish this opportunity to join a forward-thinking Pre Assessment team with time to care. Putting patients first, we champion doing the right thing for our customers. With a wide variety of cases, you are sure to broaden your skills. Our specialities include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Neurosurgery, Plastics Surgery, ENT, Cardiology, GP Services and Physiotherapy.

As a Healthcare Assistant - Pre Assessment , you will:

  • Help to make sure the day to day operations of our various clinics run smoothly.

  • Assist nurses with preassessment of surgical patients, undertake preoptimisation screening

  • Assist with phelbotomy and observations

  • refer to relevant specialities, build relationships with theatres, anaesthetics and ward

  • Pre Assesment experience desirable but not essential.

  • Be patient focused and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.

  • Be a real team player.

  • Have diligence and IT literacy.

  • Have a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage a wide range of activities and changing priorities.

  • Have a flexible approach. A passion for development and training are also essential.

  • Must have NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health & Social care.
