About the role:
An opportunity is now open for a Health Care Assistant to join our incredible team of health care professionals. We're looking for someone who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional care and exceeding patient expectations.
This is a fantastic chance to further your healthcare career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities includes:
- Assisting with clinical administrative tasks
- Providing clinical support and patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
This is a permanent full-time position, working Monday to Friday in rostered shifts between 7:30am and 8:30pm.
What we are looking for:
We’re looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and reliable individual with exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to teamwork. The successful candidate will ideally possess:
A relevant Health Care Assistant qualification is preferred.
- Experience assisting with minor surgical procedures and clinical treatments is an advantage
- Strong administrative skills, including patient recalls, cervical screening coordination, and dashboard management.
- A proactive approach, excellent work ethic, maturity, and outstanding time-management skills.
- A commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to inclusive and equitable healthcare delivery.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, articulate, and empathetic manner.
- The ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with patients and their family/whānau.
