Heavy Equipment Mechanic
As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations while minimizing downtime.
What you’re responsible for:
- Inspecting and diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues using diagnostic tools
- Performing routine and preventative maintenance on heavy equipment
- Repairing or replacing worn or damaged components, including hydraulic systems and electrical systems (12V/24V)
- Performing welding and metal fabrication repairs as needed
- Coordinating maintenance schedules with department managers to reduce downtime
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and repair records using the CMMS
- Ensuring all work is completed in compliance with safety standards and procedures
To join our team:
- You have 8–10 years of experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment
- You have strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, cylinders, and electrical systems
- You have experience with welding and metal fabrication
- You can read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- You are comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- You are safety-focused and able to work in a fast-paced, industrial setting
