High School Fine Arts Teacher
Leona Group School is seeking a passionate and creative High School Fine Arts Teacher to inspire students through the visual arts. We are looking for an educator who believes every student has creative potential and is committed to fostering artistic expression, critical thinking, and confidence in the classroom.
Our Fine Arts program embraces a variety of artistic disciplines, and we welcome candidates with experience in one or more of the following:
- Drawing
- Painting
- Charcoal and other sketching techniques
- Ceramics
- Mixed media
- Additional visual art forms
What You'll Do
- Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned Fine Arts instruction.
- Encourage creativity, self-expression, and artistic exploration.
- Teach foundational and advanced techniques across multiple art mediums.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and inspired.
- Showcase student artwork through classroom displays, exhibitions, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support student achievement and school culture.
Qualifications
- Valid Arizona teaching certificate (or ability to obtain one) with appropriate certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for working with high school students and supporting their academic and personal growth.
