We are actively seeking experienced High Value Residential Insurance Inspectors to join our team as independent contractors (1099). This opportunity is ideal for seasoned inspectors who understand the expectations of and the underwriting requirements of high\-net\-worth carriers. You\u2019ll have the flexibility to work in your local market, build supplemental income, or scale this into your primary source of revenue.<\/span>

As a Field Consultant you will be responsible for independently managing and completing on\-site High Value Property Surveys. This role is great for someone that is proactive, resourceful and driven. It requires strong construction knowledge, sketching skills, and the ability to professionally engage with homeowners and insurance agents.<\/span>

Position Details:<\/span><\/i><\/b>

\u2022\tProfessionally interact over the phone, via email and in\-person with homeowners and insurance agents.<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tSchedule and conduct comprehensive on\-site inspections of high value residential properties as per carrier specific guidelines and procedures.<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tAccurately document custom construction features, high\-end finishes, and unique architectural elements.<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tCapture detailed measurements, photographs, and site observations.<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tIdentify potential underwriting concerns, hazards, and loss exposures.<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tDevelop accurate replacement cost estimates reflective of high\-quality materials and craftsmanship.<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tSubmit complete, timely web\-based reports that meet carrier\-specific guidelines.<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tCommunicate the information gathered during the on\-site inspection in Loss Control 360 accessed through the Signature website.<\/span>
<\/div>

We are specifically seeking professionals with:<\/span><\/i><\/b> <\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tDirect experience as a High Value Residential Insurance Inspector<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tBackground in insurance inspections, loss control, underwriting support, or high\-end home appraisals<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tStrong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and custom features<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tExperience estimating replacement costs for high value residential properties<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tProficiency with diagramming software such as Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or similar tools<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tExcellent communication skills when working with high\-net\-worth homeowners and insurance agents<\/span>
<\/div>
\u2022\tStrong time management and ability to work independently<\/span>
<\/div>
Experience in insurance adjusting, construction management, real estate appraisal, or luxury home building is highly valued.<\/i><\/span><\/span>

\u2022\tPrior underwriting experience is desirable.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022\tPrior inspection experience on residential homes is desirable.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022\tLoss control experience desirable.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022\tConstruction experience desired, but not required.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022\tMust have a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer.

\u2022\tA late model reliable vehicle and Auto and General Liability Insurance.<\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
\u2022\tHigh speed internet, Digital Camera, or Smart phone with 16mp camera or greater, measuring devices such as: laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel.<\/span>
