In the role of Highway/Roads Engineer, we'll count on you to\:
  • Serve in a technical role under the direction of a Project Manager on the engineering development of urban and rural highway/roadway projects
  • Oversee the work of CAD Designers, and junior staff
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs for roadway and highway projects
  • Grow as a leader providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior staff
  • Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams
  • Learn from senior staff to help grow your knowledge and expertise
  • Assist with project management responsibilities as Deputy PM (Optional)
  • Other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in all aspects of roadway engineering design
  • Civil3D Design and Modeling Experience
  • WisDOT Process Knowledge
