Skills
• Good experience in Automotive embedded system validation
• Experience in Hardware-In the-Loop-System
• Good programming skills in MATLAB Simulink, Python
• Ability to create, read and understand models developed in Simulink
• Experience using ControlDesk Next Generation, AutomationDesk and ConfigurationDesk software

• Good understanding of vehicle network protocols like CAN, LIN and FlexRay
• Must have experience in manual and automated vehicle diagnostics/functional validation, ISO 14229,
• ISO 15031(optional)
• Working experience with any test automation framework for Embedded system validation
• Familiarity with dSPACE ControlDesk, ETAS INCA, CANape (optional), Vector CANoe/CANanalyzer
• etc.
• The candidate must have good understanding of basic electrical systems
• Configuration management experience for test cases and test environments
• Understanding of basic electrical circuit design and debug
• Proficient with standard software lifecycle models and the overall development processes
• Experience with change and configuration management systems
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation
• Working knowledge of modeling, simulation, and testing techniques
• Hardware / circuit design – ability to read and understand basic schematics
• Excellent communication skills
• Good leadership skills
• Outstanding troubleshooting skills in HIL systems
Roles and responsibilities
• Support the specification/requirements phase for defining Hardware in the Loop test systems
• Support and maintain the development of plant models used in the HIL System
• Coordinating the build of algorithm validation test equipment
• Design software verification test, for vehicles SW components, mainly on HIL environment
• Design and create automated testing methods
• Set up and execute validation testing on target controllers.
• Working closely with the algorithm, software, hardware, and calibration engineers to understand
• requirements
• Evaluate the results gathered by the test stand.
• Log potential software defects into issue tracking tool
• Assist in the planning and execution of engineering activities assigned to the team.
• Work on all phases or aspects of projects including marketing support, technical studies, preparation
• of specifications, technical plans, testing, data analysis and validation
• Support opportunities for technology development, process improvements, tool development, and
• knowledge capture and reuse
• Support, organize and lead customer meetings
• Provide active team leadership through technical mentoring, frequent feedback, and transparent
• communication of team goals and priorities
• Effort estimation and planning
• Responsible for plant model and communication interface development
• Wiring harness design and implementation
• Identification of software and hardware requirements for HIL simulation
• Troubleshooting of HIL simulation
• Plant model optimization
