Hospital Finance Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available for a hands-on Hospital Finance Manager to lead the finance team and business partner with clinical and corporate managers across the hospital. The role is responsible for overseeing all financial related activities and processes and requires a strong focus on process and reporting improvement.

This is a fixed term - maternity leave cover for 12 months.

What you will bring

  • CPA or CA qualifications / relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to analyse, interpret and utilise data to improve organisational performance and identify opportunities
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a diverse group of management and staff providing strong operational and financial expertise.
  • A successful track record in process and reporting improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to liaise with and influence those in senior management positions
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement activities and excellence in customer service
  • Sound IT skills using the MS Office Suite and Web based reporting systems
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Meditech, chris21 and TM1 software applications (desirable)
  • Previous experience in the health care sector (desirable)
