As a Hosting and Infrastructure Platform Engineer working at our San Antonio headquarters office, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise I/S infrastructure primarily focused on operating systems, server hardware, virtualization, containerization across on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Support, design, and implement enterprise infrastructure technology solutions aligned with industry and company standards, incorporating on-prem, virtualization, container platforms, and modern cloud.
  • Contribute to long-term planning for Infrastructure solutions related to hosting
  • Design, implement, and operate enterprise solutions based on RHEL Linux, Windows Server OS, container orchestration platforms, Broadcom VCF, and systems that enable emerging technologies such as AI/ML workloads.
  • Design, implement, and operate Cisco UCS server hardware
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, application development, and security to ensure solutions meet organizational needs
  • Manage and maintain infrastructure lifecycle operations, workload domain configuration, and integration with storage and network platforms.
  • Documents knowledge acquired and technical specifications into a knowledge management system. This includes adhering to established documenting standards.
  • Coordinate the adoption of new procedures resulting from software and hardware changes, including the development of system specifications, documentation, training, and communication plans.
  • Performs analysis on (including performance and capacity) as well as recommending quality complex solutions
  • Understand and applies the various IT methodologies which include project management, development, service management, and system architecture.
  • Follow ITIL based service management processes (Change, Incident, Request)

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.
