Hotel Chief Concierge [Central]
Location: Orchard
Working Hours: 5 days work week, shift required
Salary: Up to $2900 + aws + flexi benefit + staff meals
Our client is a leading international hospitality company. They are seeking an experienced and service-driven Chief Concierge to oversee the daily operations of their Concierge team. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless guest assistance services, maintaining operational excellence, and leading a team dedicated to delivering personalised and memorable hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Concierge Operations & Guest Services
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Concierge department, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Oversee guest requests relating to transportation, luggage handling, restaurant reservations, local recommendations, and special arrangements.
- Ensure all Concierge services are delivered in accordance with hotel standards and guest expectations.
- Maintain a strong presence within the lobby to engage with guests and support operational needs.
- Ensure VIPs, repeat guests, and long-stay guests receive personalised attention and service.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Anticipate guest needs and provide tailored recommendations on dining, attractions, entertainment, and local experiences.
- Handle guest feedback, concerns, and special requests professionally and effectively.
- Ensure seamless coordination of airport transfers, transportation bookings, and other guest arrangements.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of local attractions, events, and hospitality offerings to enhance the guest experience.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop the Concierge team to consistently deliver outstanding service.
- Conduct daily briefings, provide operational guidance, and ensure effective communication within the department.
- Manage team scheduling and manpower allocation to meet business demands.
- Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Uphold professional grooming, presentation, and service standards across the team.
Operations & Coordination
- Work closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Engineering, and other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
- Ensure accurate communication of guest preferences, requests, and operational updates.
- Oversee concierge records, guest information, and departmental documentation.
- Ensure concierge resources, systems, and processes remain updated and effective.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
- Adhere to safety, security, and emergency response protocols.
- Ensure proper handling of guest belongings and confidential information.
- Maintain a professional, safe, and guest-focused environment at all times.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Concierge, Guest Services, or Front Office operations, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore's attractions, dining scene, transportation network, and hospitality offerings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and guest relations skills.
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
