Hotel Front Desk Receptionist
Our client is seeking passionate and service-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join the opening team of a new luxury hotel in Singapore. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pre-opening journey and help create exceptional guest experiences from day one.
As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional service while ensuring the smooth operation of front desk activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests and provide a professional, friendly and efficient check-in and check-out experience.
- Handle guest enquiries, requests and feedback promptly while ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Verify reservation details, room assignments, rates and payment information accurately.
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest records and billing information in the Property Management System (PMS).
- Provide information on hotel facilities, services and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Coordinate guest requests with Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage guest communications through phone calls, emails and other channels.
- Promote hotel facilities, services and room upgrades where appropriate.
- Adhere to hotel policies, operational procedures, cash handling requirements and safety standards.
- Support daily front office operations and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, front office or hospitality-related roles preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Good problem-solving and organisational abilities.
- Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) will be an advantage.
- Proficient in spoken and written English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
