Hotel Reservations Agent
Our client is seeking a Reservations Agent to join the pre-opening team of a new luxury hospitality destination in Singapore. This role is responsible for managing room reservation enquiries, converting bookings, and delivering exceptional guest service throughout the reservation process.
As a key point of contact for guests, you will play an important role in driving revenue, maintaining booking accuracy, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from enquiry to confirmation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle room reservation enquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner.
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings while ensuring all reservation details are accurately recorded.
- Provide guests with accurate information on room availability, rates, promotions, and hotel services.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a high standard of customer service at all times.
- Identify opportunities to maximise room revenue and promote hotel products and services where appropriate.
- Follow up on reservation enquiries and potential business opportunities.
- Maintain accurate reservation records and ensure all bookings are updated in the hotel management system.
- Support room inventory management and other reservation-related administrative duties.
- Ensure all guest interactions are handled professionally and in accordance with company service standards.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure guest requirements and special requests are communicated effectively.
- Contribute to a seamless guest experience by maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail in all reservation activities.
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in reservations, hospitality, customer service, or front office operations preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent telephone etiquette.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hotel reservation systems.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Service-oriented with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Hospitality-related qualifications will be an advantage.
- Pre-opening hotel experience will be advantageous.
