We are seeking dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Housekeepers who take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Housekeepers play an important role in the overall operation of the lodge and help ensure every guest enjoys a comfortable and memorable stay.

What You'll Be Doing

Housekeeping & Guest Room Cleaning

Working as part of the housekeeping team, responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining six (6) guest rooms located within the main lodge, six (6) guest cabins, shared guest bathrooms, shower facilities, and common areas
• Completing room and cabin turnovers for arriving and departing guests
• Changing linens, replacing towels, replenishing guest amenities, and ensuring accommodations are guest-ready
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout guest-facing areas of the lodge
• Identifying and reporting maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged items

Housekeepers work collaboratively as a team to complete daily cleaning, laundry, and guest accommodation requirements.

Laundry Operations

• Wash, dry, fold, organize, and distribute guest linens, towels, robes, and lodge laundry
• Maintain clean and organized laundry facilities and linen storage areas
• Ensure linens and supplies are available to support daily lodge operations
• Assist with seasonal laundry and linen changeover projects as required

Common Areas & Lodge Support

• Maintain cleanliness in shared guest spaces, lounges, hallways, public washrooms, and guest-facing areas of the lodge
• Restock housekeeping supplies and guest amenities as needed
• Participate in periodic deep-cleaning projects and seasonal cleaning initiatives
• Support overall lodge cleanliness and presentation standards

Lodge Operations Support

As a small remote lodge, teamwork is essential. While housekeeping and laundry are the primary responsibilities of this role, team members may occasionally be asked to assist with other operational tasks based on guest needs, occupancy levels, weather conditions, or operational priorities.

Examples may include:

• Supporting seasonal deep-cleaning projects
• Assisting with the setup or preparation of guest spaces
• Restocking supplies throughout the lodge
• Assisting other departments during peak operational periods
• Contributing to the overall cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the lodge

These responsibilities are secondary to the core housekeeping function and are shared across the team as operational needs arise.

Guest Service

• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
• Contribute to a positive guest experience through attention to detail and pride in your work
• Represent Blachford Lodge in a professional manner at all times

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, lodge, camp, or hospitality experience is considered an asset

This position typically works 10-hour shifts and requires flexibility based on guest schedules, occupancy levels, transportation schedules, weather conditions, and operational requirements. Weekend work and extended shifts may be required during peak operational periods.
