(HQ) Senior Manager, Global Tender Management and Solution Design

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee 3 regional tender management team to ensure business growth, timely submission of competitive tender proposals to clients and the compliance/standardization of the internal tender process
  • Lead the development and submission of competitive tender proposals in a global context by collaborating product team, PnL owners and bid manager
  • Govern the tender process from pre-bid preparation, tender handling, post-tender analysis
  • Design and optimize global tender management process by incorporating the best market practices and the use of latest technology
  • Guide the use of relevant market intelligence tools or data subscription platforms for benchmarking
  • Lead the internal pricing reviews for sizeable opportunities / must win accounts with senior management team
  • Lead the post-bid reviews with internal stakeholders to understand market competition and drive initiatives for improving the win rate
  • Lead global coordination of the solution design for strategic customers
  • Translate customer supply chain challenges into commercially viable, operationally deliverable offerings
  • Own solution narratives for strategic RFPs/RFIs, ensuring commercial credibility


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain management, Logistics or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding industry, with a solid background in regional tender management, airfreight / ocean freight procurement and operations
  • Possesses strong knowledge of airfreight and ocean freight products, product-specific pricing models, solution planning, and tender management tools/platforms
  • Strong strategic thinking and excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to influence, guide and align internal teams
