HR Business Partner
Purpose of position
Focuses on employee relations, operational support as well as be a strong business partner by supporting the implementation of business strategies with regard to people, culture and organization in line with global strategies.
Responsibilities
Functional responsibility
- Act as strong business and sparring partner and be the first contact point for managers on impactful and performance enhancing people, cultural and organizational topics.
- Support managers with implementation of business strategies with regard to people, culture and organization in line with global initiatives (e.g. organizational design, workforce planning, leadership & people development, transformation programs, change management, way of working), including FTE forecasts maintenance
- Understand business needs and support implementation of business relevant people programs, processes and tool in collaboration with the HR team and in line with PX development roadmap (e.g Workday implementation, Job Architecture, etc..)
- Provide insight into HR metrics and use HR data to define actions
- Support in defining recruitment needs, approval for recruitment to positions and defining requirement profile for senior/expert vacancies
- Be an advocate for our Miele Creators’ Culture and act as a strong change agent
- Effectively collaborate with the other parties in the HR organization as well as with HR colleagues in the region and globally
Local responsibility:
- Expert on labor law in country of location and provide labor law related advice to HR Manager and managers as applicable
- Employee relations: Manage standard employee relations cases, coordinate and monitor sick leave cases, prepare documentation for complex cases, escalate sensitive or high-risk matters to HR Manager
- Responsible for compliance with legal regulations
- Prioritise activities and support based on urgency and business impact

Competencies/Skills for position
- University degree in HR, business or equivalent
- Several years of HR experience
- Project - & Change management skills
- Seniority and influencing skills on Sr Management level in a change management environment as well as excellent interpersonal skills in an international context
- Problem solver, self-motivated, hands-on mentality
- Strong collaboration skills and preferably experience from matrix organizations
- Excellent communication and presentations skills in English, Dutch is a plus
