HR Business Partner
Profitable Growth
- Build local HR strategies that align with departmental goals to ensure delivery of successful outcomes
- Partner the leadership team and other key internal stakeholders on employee cost management initiatives
- Provide cost analysis and salaries and wages information as required for budgetary purposes.
- Research and coordinate cost effective training (focus on ROI)
Financial Management
- Administer compensation, benefits and performance management systems
- Train and educate senior and middle management regarding salary review process and execution
- Enlist financially responsible recruitment practises (i.e. negotiate agency terms)
Customer
- Provide hands-on HR operational support and coaching
- Provide support and advice on wide range of HR and ER related matters
- Participate in Management meetings
- Having a hands-on approach to establishing productive work culture
- Ensuring consistent application of policy and procedures
Operating Performance
- Drive engagement initiatives to ensure strong, positive employee relations
- Create a high-performance culture by driving succession planning and performance management
- Balance your Strategic and operational HR skills by implementing Strategic initiatives while also providing hands on support to our leaders.
- Robust activation of local initiatives to enable adoption of continuous improvement as our way of working
- Leveraging existing wellness and development programs to strengthen our ANZ teams
- Support site managers, interpreting awards / EBA and administering contracts and helping resolve work-related problems
- Train and support managers on performance management and disciplinary procedures.
- Conduct induction program with new starters
- Jointly with the EHS Manager administer safety and recreation programs
- Provide input in to work place engagement strategies and policies to create much more engaged team culture.
- Support the HR team with acquisition related activities
- Back up HR Director during periods of absence.

- Partner the local HR team with policy reviews and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Out of the box ideas on a creating a workplace that attracts high calibre talent and create workplace engagement.
- Reinforcing practices that draws out the best in every individual.

Required Competencies and Behaviours
Essential Competencies
Previous exposure to Company integrations and acquisitions
Previous International experience or global exposure
Comfortable with remote management
Strong organizational skills
Experience with dealing with unions and EBA
Self-driven and work autonomously
Behavioural and Communication Skills
Sense of responsibility to achieve results in high volume fast paced environments
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Education and experience
HR tertiary qualification
Minimum 5 years industry experience
