A well-established and growing construction company is seeking an HR Coordinator to support HR, benefits, onboarding, and payroll functions while serving as a trusted resource for employees across the organization.
This is a highly visible role for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping people, and can effectively manage changing priorities throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, and new hire administration
- Maintain employee records, files, and HR documentation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions regarding benefits and HR-related matters
- Administer benefits enrollments, changes, terminations, COBRA, open enrollment, and annual renewals
- Support weekly payroll processing through timecard review, payroll data entry, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting
- Assist with certified payroll and prevailing wage requirements as needed
- Ensure accurate and compliant HR and payroll records
- Utilize ERP to update for employees
What We're Looking For
- 2β3+ years of HR administration experience
- 1β3 years of payroll support experience, including weekly payroll cycles is preferred
- Experience with timecard review, payroll data entry, adjustments, and basic payroll troubleshooting
- Experience with ERP systems such as Vista/Viewpoint, Oracle, Sage, or similar platforms
- General understanding of prevailing wage requirements; direct certified payroll reporting experience is not required
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional employee support
