HR Employee Data Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HR Employee Data Analyst based in the United States.

This role sits at the core of HR operations, ensuring employee data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems. You will play a key part in supporting internal HR teams by managing personnel records, reviewing system changes, and resolving employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and employment data. The position combines analytical rigor with operational responsiveness, requiring strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving. You will work across HRIS platforms to process updates, audit data, and identify trends or discrepancies that impact workforce information. Collaboration is central, as you will engage with multiple stakeholders to support process improvements, system updates, and organizational initiatives. This is a highly detail-oriented role in a fast-paced HR environment where data quality directly supports employee experience and decision-making. Success requires precision, accountability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage and process employee data changes within HRIS systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies.
  • Respond to Tier 2 HR inquiries related to personnel records, transfers, compensation, benefits, and general employee data issues.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR system updates, identifying inconsistencies, trends, and areas for improvement.
  • Track, document, and resolve employee data issues using case management tools, escalating complex cases when necessary.
  • Collaborate with HR stakeholders on system requirements, process workflows, and HR initiatives such as mergers, union contracts, and training updates.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by analyzing HR data processes and recommending enhancements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate resolution of employee concerns while maintaining confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Requirements:

    • Vocational training, college coursework, or equivalent HR experience; Associate’s degree preferred.
    • 3+ years of experience in Human Resources operations, HRIS management, onboarding, benefits, compensation, or employee data administration.
    • Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle data management.
    • Experience working with HRIS platforms and case management systems.
    • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a structured, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to support employees and HR stakeholders effectively.
