Key Responsibilities:\nHR Strategy & Alignment\n\nSupport the alignment of HR functions with Syokinet\u2019s strategic vision and operational priorities.\n\nProvide insights on workforce planning and organizational structuring.\n\nEmployee Relations & Engagement\n\nAdvise on staff relations, conflict resolution, and grievance handling.\n\nPromote a healthy organizational culture grounded in respect, communication, and accountability.\n\nPerformance Management\n\nContribute to the design and implementation of performance management processes.\n\nProvide tools and guidance for goal setting, feedback, and staff evaluations.\n\nRecruitment & Onboarding\n\nSupport the development of job descriptions and hiring processes as needed.\n\nContribute to the design of onboarding experiences that integrate new staff into the organization effectively.\n\nPolicy & Compliance\n\nReview and advise on internal HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with local labor laws.\n\nCapacity Building & Support\n\nIdentify training needs and support capacity development initiatives for staff and managers.\n\nPromote a learning culture and knowledge\-sharing across teams.\n\nInternal Communication\n\nStrengthen internal communication systems to improve collaboration and transparency across the organization.\n\n\n\nRequirements\nRequirements:\nEducation & Qualifications:\n\nBachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Health, or a related field (Master\u2019s degree is an asset).\n\nProfessional certification in HR (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is desirable but not mandatory.\n\nExperience:\n\nMinimum of 8\u201310 years of progressive experience in organizational leadership, team management, or operations.\n\nPrior experience in consulting, HR support, or working with cross\-functional teams is highly beneficial.\n\nExperience in the humanitarian, development, or social impact sectors is an advantage.\n\nSkills & Competencies:\n\nStrong understanding of HR principles, policies, and compliance practices\n\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to advise, coach, and influence others\n\nProven ability to align people strategies with organizational goals\n\nSolid knowledge of performance management, team structuring, and employee engagement\n\nStrong organizational and problem\-solving skills\n\nAbility to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism\n\nAdaptability and a proactive mindset in dynamic environments\n\nPersonal Attributes:\n\nPeople\-centered and empathetic\n\nStrategic yet practical\n\nStrong sense of integrity and accountability\n\nCollaborative and solutions\-oriented\n\nOther:\n\nAbility to work independently and manage priorities across multiple projects\n\nKnowledge of local labor laws (if applicable)\n\nFluent in English (additional languages are a plus)\n\n\n\nBenefits\nFlexible Work Arrangement: Ability to work remotely or on a hybrid basis, allowing for work\-life balance and autonomy over your schedule.\n\nProfessional Development: Opportunity to shape and grow the HR function from the ground up, gaining experience in strategic HR advisory within a dynamic organization.\n\nCompetitive Consultancy Fee: The role offers a competitive monthly consultancy fee, commensurate with experience, scope of work, and level of responsibility.
