Summary of the Role

This role will mainly provide operational and administrative support to the HR Services function based in the Malaysia entity.

The purpose of the role includes:

(1) Managing centralized payroll processing for multiple entities in APAC region

(2) Provide administrative support (P-filing, statutory submissions, engagement events, etc) to regional HR services operations

(3) Ensure full compliance to internal and external regulations and requirements

Key Functions / Responsibilities

1. HR Services and Administration

  • Ensure smooth and accurate payroll processing for multiple entities in APAC region

  • Ensure proper document management for employee personnel files

  • Implement consistent practice of HR document retention and retrieval to ensure compliance with local regulations and practices

  • Provide on-the-ground support to HR activities, such as Onboarding, Offboarding, Trainings, and other engagement events from time to time.

  • Support internal and external audits and maintain proper documentation for statutory compliance.

2. Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager

Education & Experience

  • General Degree/diploma relevant qualification

  • Preferably 3-5 years of working experiences in HR Generalist role

  • HR Shared Services background is a bonus

  • Conversant in speaking and writing in English

  • Background in handling payroll or HR operations for multiple countries/regions

  • Knowledge and experience in local labour regulations and statutory requirements
