JOB OVERVIEW:
The HRBP Manager will work with and support the Senior Director, Human Resources, Asia as the strategic people partner to the business for the Philippines Market Unit and Asia. The HRBP Manager will be a trusted advisor and consultant to business leaders and employees on HR matters and deliver on the people agenda through partnership and collaboration with the HR COEs. The HRBP Manager will be a valued member of the Asia HRBP team to shape a high-performance culture, foster engagement and build talents.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic HR Business Partnership
- Develop a good understanding of the business and partner business leaders to implement HR strategies that align with business imperatives, regional and global priorities, and foster a high-performance culture.
- Be a trusted advisor, main local HR expert, people-thought partner, and coach to business leaders and employees to enhance employee engagement and drive performance.
- Talent & Workforce Management
- Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning processes for the assigned business functions.
- Partner with COEs to deliver integrated solutions in talent acquisition, development, compensation, and benefits.
- Provide guidance on leadership development, performance reviews, and other HR-related matters.
- Employee Experience & Culture
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and corporate policies; stay ahead of legislative changes and proactively make necessary adjustments to company policies and practices.
- Be a champion for company culture, promoting Vertiv's Core Principles and Behaviors.
- Guide and support leaders and teams through organizational growth and changes.
- Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage complex employee relations cases, conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations, and ensure timely and fair resolution in accordance with company policies and local labor laws.
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication between employees and management
- Ensure full compliance with local labor laws and corporate policies; stay ahead of legislative changes and proactively make necessary adjustments to company policies and practices.
- HR Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Partner with HR COEs, adopt a data-driven approach, and gather insights to identify patterns and root causes to develop tailored HR solutions that drive performance and engagement.
- Leverage data and insights to develop interventions and initiatives for talent retention and employee engagement.
- Continuously review HR processes for efficiency and effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement in HR policies, procedures, and processes.
- Support the Senior Director, Human Resources, Asia in HR initiatives or projects that align with business goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
- More than 5 years of solid HR experience with at least 3 years in a HRBP role.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, talent management, and strong comprehension of Philippines employment laws. Knowledge of employment laws in other Asia countries an advantage.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to move with pace, juggle multiple tasks, and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making and solve complex HR challenges.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a healthy dose of empathy and tact.
- Self-starter, positive and driven.
- Mature in thinking and balance in approach.
- Strong cultural awareness.
