HSE Manager (Saudi National)

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Health & Safety Manager (Saudi National) to join our site supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSE management systems and policies aligned with local and international standards
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
  • Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels
  • Manage and mentor the HSE team, fostering a strong culture of safety throughout the organization
  • Prepare and present detailed HSE performance reports to senior management
  • Collaborate with project managers to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HSE metrics
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in HSE management
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company in HSE-related matters
  • Travel to various work sites as needed to ensure consistent implementation of HSE practices

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH), or equivalent
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in industrial or construction environments
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment techniques, and incident investigation methodologies
  • Strong understanding of local and international HSE regulations and standards
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor laws and HSE practices
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HSE management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective HSE strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Experience in managing and mentoring HSE teams
  • Willingness to travel to various work sites as required
