HSE Manager (Saudi National)

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Health & Safety Manager (Saudi National) to join our site supervision team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain effective HSE management systems and policies aligned with local and international standards
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement
- Lead incident investigations, perform root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels
- Manage and mentor the HSE team, fostering a strong culture of safety throughout the organization
- Prepare and present detailed HSE performance reports to senior management
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for HSE metrics
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in HSE management
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and represent the company in HSE-related matters
- Travel to various work sites as needed to ensure consistent implementation of HSE practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CMIOSH (Chartered Member of IOSH), or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in industrial or construction environments
- In-depth knowledge of HSE management systems, risk assessment techniques, and incident investigation methodologies
- Strong understanding of local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian labor laws and HSE practices
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to HSE management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE management software
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective HSE strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Experience in managing and mentoring HSE teams
- Willingness to travel to various work sites as required
