HSSE Officer

A reputable facilities management organisation is seeking a proactive HSSE Officer to support health, safety, security, and environmental compliance activities across managed facilities.

The successful candidate will support inspections, incident management, contractor compliance, permit-to-work monitoring, environmental compliance, and audit-readiness activities while helping to maintain safe and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct site inspections and compliance monitoring.
- Monitor contractor HSSE compliance.
- Support permit-to-work (PTW) activities.
- Support incident reporting and investigations.
- Maintain HSSE documentation and records.
- Track corrective actions to closure.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness activities.
- Support audits and compliance reviews.
- Promote a strong safety culture across operational sites.

Requirements

- HND, BSc, or any relevant qualification.
- Relevant HSE certification preferred (NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISPON, HSE Level 1–3, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1–3 years relevant HSSE experience.
- Experience within Facilities Management, Construction, Manufacturing, Building Services, or similar operational environments.
- Strong inspection, compliance monitoring, and reporting skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management capability.
- Basic incident investigation and risk assessment knowledge.
- Ability to work across multiple operational sites.
