SUMMARY:

The Deli Cook will provide consistently excellent food and customer service in a clean and friendly environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Utilize Micros system to ring in orders, receive funds, and count back change.
  • Prepare food consistently according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work environment.
  • Ensure food safety and appropriate sanitation measures are followed.
  • Stock items applying appropriate dating and rotation principles.
  • Operate and clean commercial restaurant equipment according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain temperature logs, time logs, and waste sheets.
  • Perform prep work as needed.
  • Receive, use, and return a bank with appropriate paperwork daily.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
