HUMAN RESOURCE GENERALIST / SENIOR

We are seeking an experienced and qualified individual for a long-term and exciting career with us for the following position:

Responsibilities:

Recruitment

  • Coordinates, negotiates and liaises with employment and advertising agents on service fee, advertisement recruitment and interview schedules
  • Conducts interviews up to Executive level, arranges interviews for management levels, prepares Letter of Offer to selected candidates.
  • Conducts exit interviews up to Executive level

Welfare

  • Attends to employees’ grievances and complaints; provides guidance if necessary
  • Provides feedback to the management to enhance a better and cordial working environment.
  • Organizes corporate events.

HR Administration

  • Reviews, updates and maintains proper filing of insurance policies, HR handbook, company doctors’ list, performance appraisal form and training schedules
  • Assists Manager in planning and preparing annual headcount report and updating the organization chart
  • Reviews compensation and benefits together with the Manager up to Executive level

Payroll

  • Oversees the full spectrum of payroll functions for the company
  • Perform monthly payroll processing, ad hoc payments and deductions
  • Ensure all pay details are correctly updated into the payrollsystem
  • Ensure prompt statutory submissions and payments; annual taxfiling (IR21 & IR8A) are completed and submitted on time
  • Ensure prompt and accurate processing of government claims(i.e., NS claims, maternity claims, etc.)
  • Assists in drafting out Annual Letter and Promotion Letter
  • Manages queries from employees and reporting for Finance Department
  • Other duties assigned from time to time, as the role progress

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma and above in Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in HR and payroll preferably in retail/hospitality, with multistore in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Knowledge of payroll software, Infotech system, will be advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of Singapore Employment Act
  • Analytical and meticulous with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Independent and able to multi-tasking a fast-paced environment to meet tight deadlines
