We are currently looking for a Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic team in Zagreb, Croatia!
This role plays a key part in maintaining efficient HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee data management, and HR reporting with a strong focus on operational excellence, data integrity, and continuous improvement. .
What kind of work will you be doing?
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data accuracy across departments and locations.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth experience for new hires and exiting employees.
- Prepare and manage employment contracts, amendments, and HR-related documentation.
- Support payroll and benefits administration by collecting and verifying employee data and liaising with payroll providers.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the coordination of training programs, performance reviews, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, GDPR, and internal policies across all HR practices.
- Handles SAM (safety and accident management system) monthly reporting.
- Maintains and updates HR documents including job descriptions and organizational charts, headcount reports etc.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and proposing solutions.
- Collaborates with and supports HR Generalist
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role, preferably in a mid-to-large-sized organization.
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, and data privacy regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., HRNET) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with customer-first mindset, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
