Summary of Responsibilities:
The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of talent acquisition while providing comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function. This role partners closely with hiring managers to recruit, hire, and onboard talent, while also supporting employee lifecycle processes, HR systems, and compliance activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including screening and coordinating interviews
- Partner with hiring managers on job descriptions, requisition creation, and compensation alignment
- Post and manage job listings and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Maintain timely communication with all candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding process
- Conduct pre-employment screening, including background checks and references
- Facilitate a welcoming and efficient onboarding experience for all new hires
- Prepare and process new hire paperwork, ensuring 100% compliance
- In partnership with the hiring manager, coordinate new employee orientation
- Collaborate with IT to ensure new hires have necessary equipment and system access on day one
- Manage the termination process, including disabling system access and processing separation documentation
- Process employee status changes in HRIS and other relevant systems
- Maintain thorough employee records with accuracy and confidentiality
- Provides day-to-day operational and project support to the Human Resources Department – typical support may include generating and distributing reports, processing invoices, preparing documentation and communications, and tracking metrics
- Assists with maintaining compliance with any applicable collective bargaining agreement, and/or federal and state regulations regarding employment transactions and activities
- Performs other duties as assigned
