The Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the HR department, supporting various functions related to recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative tasks. They are responsible for facilitating HR processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations, and contributing to the overall effectiveness of the HR team.
As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR department across key areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and administration. You’ll be the first point of contact for many HR-related inquiries, helping to ensure processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Support the recruitment process by screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment requirements such as background checks, reference checks, and offer letters.
Onboard new hires by conducting orientation sessions, preparing paperwork, and enhancing the overall new-hire experience.
Coordinate the offboarding process, including exit paperwork, documentation, and related administrative tasks.
Assist with career fair administration, which may require occasional on-site attendance.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
Manage HR documentation such as contracts, policies, and procedures, and generate reports and metrics as needed.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating issues when appropriate.
Assist with employee engagement initiatives, activities, and events that support a positive workplace culture.
Stay current on labor laws and regulations, ensuring HR processes align with compliance requirements.
Support the HR team with training program coordination, employee development tracking, and other special projects as assigned
What Sets You Apart
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
1–2 years of experience in an HR support or administrative role (HR Assistant, HR Coordinator, or similar).
Strong understanding of HR functions, policies, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paycom, or similar).
Proficiency in AI-powered tools and platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, Copilot); ability to leverage AI to enhance content creation, campaign optimization, and workflow efficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Compensation Range:
$45,000 – $55,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for this position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
