Salary Range:

Human Resources Coordinator (Grade 13, Non-Exempt). Hourly wage range: $32.38 - $40.48. This range reflects the minimum to midpoint of the grade. Hourly rate may exceed the midpoint and will commensurate with experience.

Job Description Summary:

The Talent and Culture Coordinator is responsible for providing essential administrative, coordination, and project support to the Talent and Culture team, ensuring the efficient delivery of people‑related programs, processes, and services. This role supports Talent and Culture operations by coordinating activities across recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, organizational development initiatives, and employee lifecycle processes. Working collaboratively with Talent and Culture leaders, team members, and cross‑functional stakeholders, the Coordinator helps maintain accurate records, ensures timely follow‑through on tasks and initiatives, and contributes to a consistent, high‑quality employee experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Deliver analyses of HR data; identify trends and contribute to the creation of HR insights that enable the diagnosis of business issues, enhancement of employee engagement, and/or improvement of business performance.

  • Carry out complex HR data processing tasks; advise colleagues when needed and use expertise to help improve data collection tools and administration processes.

  • Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.

  • Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization, delivering high-quality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues.

  • Create a local document management system for an office or department.

  • Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.

  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.

  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description:

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's in a related field OR a combination of post-secondary training, professional education, and related experience equivalent to two (2) years.

  • Two (2) years of advanced professional office experience and/or project management; of which the total years of experience include:

  • Experience with project coordination

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Office 365, SharePoint, One Drive, and/or Microsoft Teams

Location:

  • This is a remote position, within the State of Minnestoa, and is subject to Sourcewell's telecommuting policies and procedures.

  • On occasion, may be asked to travel to Staples, MN for meetings, professional development or team activities. Up to ten to twelve (10-12) times per year. Notice will be given ahead of time.
