Job Description Summary

In this role you will be responsible for delivering and executing on a broad range of HR services and support with the assigned business groups throughout mainland Europe, with an emphasis on positive employee experience. Partnering closely with the Senior Manager, Human Resources, Europe you will navigate various HR functions including but not limited to HRIS management, compensation and benefits, industrial relations, employee relations, recruitment, conflict resolution, and performance management in accordance with our established HR strategies, programs, policies, practices, and processes.

This position is a Cadre role, 39 hrs / week + 23 RTT / year. The role is fully onsite based in our office in Saint Egrève.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR leadership to provide operational support across all HR functional areas; anticipate the evolving needs of assigned business groups to ensure proactive delivery of people services aligned with organizational goals

  • Act as a trusted point of contact for employee relations across 6 countries by triaging complex inquiries, providing guidance, and ensuring the consistent application of company policies and values

  • Lead HRIS (Workday) administration, including data audits and system testing, while leveraging HR metrics (turnover, headcount, engagement) to provide actionable, data-driven insights to leadership

  • Support preparation of the monthly Works Council meetings (analytics, legal requirements, slide deck) in France and in Germany

  • Coordinate and deliver HR programs, including annual compensation reviews, performance cycles, compensation and levelling requests, and benefits administration

  • Facilitate training workshops, new hire orientation sessions, and deliver presentations as needed

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of progressive HR experience, demonstrating a proficient and practical understanding of HR processes and best practices; Master’s degree in HR is considered a strong asset

  • Fluency in English and French languages (oral and written) required; conversational German is an asset

  • Solid understanding of employment law and standards

  • Proficient working knowledge of HRIS systems (Workday preferred), Google Suite, and MS Office programs

  • Strong problem solving skills with a process-improvement mindset

The annual salary for this job ranges from:

€43,200.00 - €58,400.00

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package that may include health benefits, retirement savings, and more (depending on region).
