Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, operate, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. The role ensures HVAC systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.

Your role

  • Install, test, commission, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including:
    • Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, DX units, VRF/VRV systems.
    • Split & packaged units, exhaust/fresh air systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules.
  • Diagnose system faults and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Ensure refrigerant charging, pressure testing, vacuuming, and leak detection are conducted properly.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, local codes, and project quality requirements.
  • Maintain service reports, maintenance logs, and records.
  • Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades as required.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns when required.

About you

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/ITI in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–7 years of hands-on HVAC experience (project/facilities-based).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Experience in GCC/UAE projects preferred.
  • Familiar with international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, CIBSE – preferred).

  • HVAC installation, testing & commissioning.
  • Preventive & breakdown maintenance.
  • Fault diagnosis & troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of refrigerants and handling procedures.
  • Ability to work from drawings and method statements.
  • Basic electrical & control panel knowledge.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
