IAM Cybersecurity Engineer

We are working with a financial services organisation looking to hire an AVP-level IAM & Security Engineer in Singapore.

This is a hands-on role covering identity access management, security controls, and cybersecurity engineering across enterprise, cloud, and on-premise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions including SSO, MFA, PAM, RBAC, access reviews, and identity lifecycle processes
• Integrate IAM tools with enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and on-premise systems
• Support security engineering across network, endpoint, cloud, SIEM, vulnerability management, firewalls, and IDS / IPS
• Monitor and respond to IAM and cybersecurity incidents, threats, and access anomalies
• Support security assessments, remediation, audit, regulatory, and compliance activities
• Lead or contribute to IAM and cybersecurity improvement initiatives
• Work with IT, business, risk, and security stakeholders to improve access controls and security posture

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in IAM, security engineering, or cybersecurity engineering
• Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Okta, Azure AD / Entra ID, CyberArk, SailPoint, Ping Identity, or similar
• Understanding of SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP, RBAC, least privilege, and access review processes
• Exposure to security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS / IPS, vulnerability management, or cloud security platforms
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP security features
• Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, or similar cybersecurity frameworks
• Scripting experience with Python, PowerShell, or similar would be advantageous
